The idea behind domestic totems is to create everyday sculptures: not for a gallery but for a home, not only to be looked at but to be used, yet with a strong sculptural presence.
A vase to me is much more than a container to flowers, it is an opportunity to create a statement piece and an (affordable) collector's item. All works are entirely handmade (wheel thrown) by me at my studio in Rotterdam. To keep it special for you and mindful for me, everyday sculptures are mostly unique pieces or numbered limited editions.

To keep it special, each vase has very small variations which make it one of a kind.
